What Inferogenesis is

Inferogenesis builds open-source software for continuous active inference, and the research that tests it. cpomdp is the library. It builds agents from linear-Gaussian generative models, with Kalman-filter perception and actions chosen by expected free energy. warrantlib is the vocabulary its checks report in. Each claim says how well it is warranted, apart from whether it held.

Inferogenesis is maintained by DanBoringName.

How AI is used

Claude models from version 5.1 onward wrote some of the code in these projects without supervision. The maintainer allowed that as confidence in the quality of their output grew. The maintainer still checked every change to that code. Tests and CI got the same check.
